Heroes’ welcome for victorious Bradford team

BRADFORD City fans will be able to salute their footballing heroes at a victory parade tomorrow.

City’s promotion-winning squad will set out from their Valley Parade ground on board an open-top bus at 6.30pm.

They will then head down Manningham Lane on the way to City Hall in Centenary Square.

After they arrive at City Hall, the club’s players and manager Phil Parkinson will be introduced to fans and civic dignitaries alike.

Tens of thousands of people are expected to pack into Centenary Square for the celebration party.

City clinched their promotion back to League One with a 3-0 play-off final victory over Northampton Town at Wembley on Saturday.
