England fans in Millennium Square were left heartbroken as the Three Lions dreams for a World Cup final ended tonight.

Fans were left open-mouthed as an added time goal from Lautaro Martinez put Argentina in the lead in Atlanta.

The joyous mood in the fan zone after Anthony Gordon put the Three Lions ahead in their World Cup semi-final just 10 minutes into the second half came crashing down as Enzo Fernandez equalised 85 minutes in and soured even further when Martinez put Argentina in the lead in the 92nd minute.

Fans were left frustrated as the country’s World Cup dreams came to an end as Argentina will face Spain in the final at the weekend.
