Yorkshire sacks bowler Oliver Robinson over ‘unprofessional actions’
Robinson, 20, has been axed after a number of disciplinary breaches.
In a statement, the club said: “The Yorkshire County Cricket Club have today announced that Oliver Robinson’s contract has been terminated with immediate effect due to a number of unprofessional actions.
“No further comment will be made by the club.”
Robinson, who was born in Kent, played seven games in this year’s NatWest T20 Blast.
He was often used to bowl overs at the death and took six wickets at 27.00, including a brace in the Roses match at Old Trafford.
Robinson played three List A fixtures for Yorkshire last summer but did not take a wicket.
