Slater Menswear celebrates 25 years in Leeds with a weekend of 25% off in-store

In 1999 Slaters began selling suits and casual wear on Albion Street in the heart of the city. A quarter of century on, a birthday offer is being made available at the store.
On the weekend of November 15, 16 and 17 customers buying in person will receive a 25% discount on the full price of their purchase.
All purchases will also come with the usual high level of customer service which includes free tailoring on every suit bought.
Department manager Sean McLaughlin said the expert staff are key to keeping customers happy. He said: “We are passionate about service and aim to keep every customer satisfied with a one to one approach. And because we operate on a non-commission, there is no uncomfortable hard-selling.”

A proud history of moving with the times
Slater Menswear began 50 years ago in Glasgow – a store which the Guinness Book of Records said in 1989 was the “world's largest menswear store”. It now has 27 stores across the UK, including a new one in York and the ever-popular one at 83 Albion Street in Leeds.
Sean said the company had thrived because of willingness to move with changes in tailoring to provide products customers truly want.
He said: “Sometimes people question if suits are still a thing in the modern world but we know that the styles of the youth of today are smarter than ever. They will put on a suit for events, parties and celebrations like weddings because they want to look their best.
“Because of that we follow the trends and offer our customers the most up to date products available.
“All of that will be on offer with a 25% discount on our birthday weekend.”
As well as suits, Slaters is a seller of high-quality casual wear including brands such as Levi’s and Barbour.
So, to discover the wealth of fashionable apparel at Slaters head to Albion Street, Leeds and if you go on November 15, 16 or 17 you can enjoy 25% off.
