If you or your family is suffering symptoms from a rugby brain injury, the deadline is approaching to start your claim. Specialist sports law solicitors can help.

Knocks to the head are common in rugby but they can have severe consequences.

We are all aware that head knocks can result in immediate issues, such as concussion – but they can also cause permanent brain damage, which may lead to health problems later in life.

Many former rugby players are now facing serious neurological conditions, including dementia, chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease, epilepsy and persistent post-concussion syndrome.

Experts at Rylands Garth believe that rugby governing bodies failed to adequately protect players from concussion, as well as sub-concussion.

They are now helping as many as 900 rugby players to take legal action against the governing bodies, with the aims of not only securing compensation for those affected but also making the game safer for all.

Rylands Garth spokesman said: “We want to ensure that players and their families are looked after, especially if their condition deteriorates as they get older.

This is a force for good and about saving people’s lives. We think that thousands of players are struggling. Get tested. Protect your future.
