Great ingredients, cooked with love, is at the heart of Greek cuisine, and here in Leeds MYTHOS offers authentic Greek food to eat in or take away.

MYTHOS was already firmly established as one of Leeds’ most popular takeaways at its Hyde Park premises and has continued to win praise (and Deliveroo awards) for the food and service.

But when it opened its first sit-down restaurant in Chapel Allerton, it proved equally as popular among Leeds’ discerning diners.

In a city where you can eat food from around the world, it takes a lot to make a lasting impression, but MYTHOS does just that.

The restaurant at Stainbeck Lane, opened in August 2023 offering an upmarket contemporary taverna atmosphere, with plenty to enjoy from the moment you step through the door.

Warm tones on the walls, Greek statues, modern Greek art and a mix of tiles and wood with lots of natural light from floor to ceiling windows give this lovely building a relaxing indoor/outdoor vibe.

The weather might not yet be ideal for enjoying an al-fresco spread of succulent starter dishes and salads or tucking into grilled meat, fish or vegetables, but, when the days get warmer you could take a table in the front or back courtyard gardens and enjoy a feast of freshly-prepared and cooked dishes.
