Wakefield's nightlife in 2008 is back in focus through this selection of photographs from our archives. The pictures capture groups of friends enjoying nights out at clubs including Relfex, Havana and Lush, as well as revellers dressed up for Halloween.
There were also appearances by a couple of TV stars. One later featured in a number of Hollywood shows and movies and took to the Strictly dancefloor. Take a look through the photographs and see whether they bring back memories of nights out in the city.
