They focus on 1909, a year which featured a city building for the future and a gear change in traffic and travel. Lesser known areas of Leeds such as Bank, Leylands and Mabgate are all in focus as well as the city centre and suburbs including Yeadon, Rawdon, Bramley and Woodhouse. The images are published courtesy of photographic archive Leodis, which is run by Leeds Library & Information Service. They also run heritage blog The Secret Library Leeds, which provides a behind the scenes look at the Central Library and highlights from its special collections, including rare books hidden away in the stacks. They produced a Christmas Card in 1899 with a pen and ink drawing of this cottage, with the words 'From Ye Attic Abode'. They also each signed their initials in monogram style.
