Of course, there are lots of things you can do today which you couldn’t back then, from streaming films to video calls with loved ones far away.
But there are also things many of us loved doing in the 90s - and some fewer people miss - that you can no longer do today.
Below are some of the biggest things you probably remember from the 90s which you can’t do anymore.
They range from music and TV to shopping, travel and food and drink.
What do you miss most about the 90s, and what do you miss least? Let us know in the comments section.

7. Queue for tickets to see your favourite band
Again, it might not sound like something you'd miss - having to queue, sometimes overnight in the cold, to get the best tickets to see your favourite band live. But it was a chance to show your loyalty, meet like-minded fans and sometimes make new friends for life. It definitely beat waiting in a virtual queue online. | National World Photo: Nick Fairhurst

8. Get your thrills at much-missed theme parks
It was perhaps the closest thing we had to Disneyland, with its fairytale castle entrance, though there was a uniquely British theme, inspired by the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table. Camelot Theme Park in Lancashire delighted thrill-seekers for nearly three decades, with rides including Whirlwind, Knightmare, and Excalibur, attracting well over half a million visitors a year at its peak. It sadly closed in 2012. Other fondly remembered UK theme parks include the popular Wild West-themed American Adventure in Derbyshire, the Cornwall Coliseum, and Dreamland in Kent. | National World Photo: National World

9. Shop at Toys 'R' Us
As the adverts so memorably declared, Toys 'R' Us really was a 'magical' place for youngsters to visit during the 90s. The toy superstores stocked everything a child could dream of. Sadly, they closed in 2018, though Toys 'R' Us did make a comeback on a smaller scale a few years later, opening a number of concessions in WHSmith stores. | National World Photo: Andrew Roe Photography
