Christmas Day is just around the corner, and while we look forward to the TV schedule on the big day, some of us may be rewatching an old favourite.
To help you decide what to revisit, here are the rankings of the most watched Christmas TV specials from previous years from ICE36, who analysed Google search data to determine the list.
7. Only Fools and Horses
Only Fools and Horses, which starred David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst in lead roles, aired from 1981 until 2003 for seven series. Only Fools and Horses and their Christmas specials are available to buy or rent on Amazon Prime Video.
8. The Simpsons
The Simpsons is one of the most popular animated sitcoms of all time. Focusing on Homer and his family, the comedy show has consisted of 35 series, first airing in 1989 and is still going to this day. The Simpsons has had many Christmas specials, which are available to watch on Disney+.
9. The Office
British mockumentary comedy The Office, which was created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. Despite only lasting for two series in the early noughties, the show became a success and has international versions adaptations, mostly notable from the US. The Office has a Christmas special which is in two parts, available to watch on BBCiPlayer.
