Highchair recalled due to danger of legs breaking off

A wooden highchair has been recalled from sale following incidents of a defect causing the risk of the legs breaking away.

The reports say that four of the Koo-di Duo Wooden Highchairs have appeared in the plastic at the point where the rear leg screws in to the base of the plastic seat.

This can cause the plastic to crack and the leg can potentially break away.

The product was sold through various retail outlets between July 2017 and April 2018. The affected batch have code KD430/02-3AH-SS. Stockists of Koo-di products include Amazon and Argos.

Anyone who owns a Koo-di Duo Wooden Highchair is advised to stop using it immediately, and check the batch number on the information label situated at the back of the seat.

If the highchair is from the affected batch, it may or may not carry a defect. Koo-di can be contacted on 01384 298531 (Mon-Thurs 09:00-17:00, Friday 09:00-16:00) and will talk customers through a simple check to determine if their product is affected.
