We pick out some of the highlights of the Leeds South Bank developments heading to Leeds over the next few years.
From new and innovative eco-housing to redeveloped mills and brewery sites - here are just a few of the planned developments to get excited about:
PICS: Third Party
Permission for two office developments and outline planning for mixed-use development inc offices, retail, leisure, hotel, health, education and community uses, parking and up to 750 new homes, with new public spaces & landscaping
Blueprints for 928 apartments are set to be built over five buildings of 6-20 storeys at a former industrial site off Hunslet Road. Plans also include ground floor commercial uses, car parking and public realm improvements.
Head of Leeds City Councils city plans panel Jim McKenna said: It will provide a range of new housing options and public realm improvements to transform this area of the city centre in an attractive, modern and imaginative way.
