Nicola Adams has broken new ground and made her sport one of the most-awaited events at the Rio finals.
We have enjoyed no end of success at the games, thanks to the efforts of divers, high bar gymnasts triathletes and the rest. All it needs now to round off a memorable games is for Nicola to triumph, collect a gold medal and wow the world with her winning smile.
And if Leeds could host a return for all our Olympians, so much the better.
