Tensions are running high between Government and NHS workers, with junior doctors feeling they have been left with no alternative but to take drastic action in order to – in their words – protect the safety of the patients that rely on the NHS.

But the YEP is urging people with scheduled appointments not to assume yours is cancelled. More importantly, if you should fall poorly, do not hesitate to seek help.

In your hour of need, regardless of the political battles on the picket lines, the NHS will be there for you this week, and beyond.
