YEP Says (Feb 23): Back from the brink after Leeds floods
IT's almost two months since floods devastated parts of Leeds, and it's heartening to hear of another business fighting back from the brink.
A gymnasium that ended up four feet deep in water as the Aire broke its banks and submerged parts of Kirkstall, is due to reopen this week.
The news comes after a neighbouring climbing company also announced it was back in business. Good news indeed. But we’re all too aware that for many other businesses, there’s a long, long way to go.
