It happened at about 7.45am on Monday, April 12.
The cyclist crashed into the woman.
She has been taken to hospital with a serious head injury.
The road was closed for several hours due to the incident.
It reopened at about 11.30am.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "The road closure was in relation to a collision between a cyclist and a woman. It was reported at 7.44am.
"The woman has been taken to hospital with a serious head injury.
"Enquiries are continuing and the road is now reopen."
