Woman impales leg climbing Kirkstall Abbey fence
A woman was taken to hospital after suffering a 'severe leg impalement' at Kirkstall Abbey.
Firefighters from Leeds Fire Station were called in to assist the ambulance service with extrication of the woman, after she fell whilst climbing a fence at the Abbey shortly before 11pm on Saturday.
Crews from Dewsbury and Cleckheaton fire stations also attended, according to West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service.
