Woman dead after collapsing on Leeds street
A woman has died after being found collapsed on a Leeds street on Thursday morning, police confirmed.
The emergency services were called shortly after 11am on Thursday (April 22) to reports of a woman found collapsed on Lingfield Drive, Leeds.
The woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
The coroner's office has been informed, police confirmed.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: "At 11.14am today (Thursday), police received a call about a woman who had been found collapsed in Lingfield Drive, Leeds.
"Emergency services attended, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and the coroner’s office has been informed."
