Wheldon Road Castleford: Man and child taken to hospital after car crashes into lamppost in Wakefield

A man and a child were taken to hospital after a car crashed into a lamppost in Wakefield.

The collision, on Wheldon Road, Castleford, was reported to West Yorkshire Police at 11.15pm last night (February 12).

A spokesperson for the force said: "Two males, one adult and one child, who were in the car were taken to hospital to be treated for injuries that are not believed to be serious."
