West Yorkshire residents told to keep windows shut as 14 fire engines tackle huge blaze
Residents in West Yorkshire have been asked to keep their windows and doors shut - as 14 fire engines tackle a huge blaze in Bradford.
Firefighters have been working hard in bitterly cold conditions this morning to tackle a large building fire in Annison Street, Bradford.
Due to the large plumes of smoke, local residents are being asked to keep doors and windows closed.
The Fire Service is assisting local authority partners from Bradford Council’s Emergency Planning Team to evacuate residents where required.

Firefighting operations continue and this remains a 14 pump incident with fire engines from across West Yorkshire in attendance, West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.
Emergency service partners are also onsite.
The fire service said: "Please avoid this area if you can to assist the emergency services in their work.
"Firefighters are still working hard onsite to contain the fire.
"In total, 14 pumps and three aerial appliances remain on scene.
"Nearby residents advised to keep doors and windows shut due to the smoke.
"Please continue to avoid the area.
