Following heavy snow on Monday, more snow showers hit Leeds overnight on Tuesday with icy surfaces left by 7am.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice until 10am - as wintry showers and icy stretches may bring travel disruption to the region.

Forecasters warn to expect: "Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces.

"Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.

"Some roads and railways may be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services."
