Huge storm hits Leeds
Leeds has been hit with a huge thunderstorm this evening.
Parts of South Yorkshire were hit first with heavy rain, thunder and lightning and the stormy weather moved north towards Leeds.
It's been a muggy day in Leeds with temperatures reaching 27C.
After a spell of bright sunshine this afternoon, the clouds have now rolled in and a huge storm has hit.
A yellow weather warning for a thunderstorm covering most of the UK has been issued, meaning there could be flooding and disruption in a few places.
After a stormy evening the weather will start to settle overnight, but Saturday is set to be a washout - with storms expected at midday and through most of the afternoon.
