Leeds weather: Tuesday's hour-by-hour forecast as more rain set to hit the city and yellow warning in place

There was heavy showers throughout Monday and a yellow weather warning covering the south of Leeds was in place until 3am this morning (Tuesday).
It is set to be a drier one today; though it will remain overcast with temperatures reaching highs of 14°.

Hide AdSummarising the day’s forecast, a Met Office spokesperson said: “Extensively cloudy, with periods of mostly light rain driving in on strong winds, these winds very gradually moderating later.
“Temperatures near normal, but feeling colder given the wind.”

The Met Office predicts that it will be overcast throughout the day, with a 30% chance of rain from 6am rising to 40% at 10am.
This will remain the same throughout the afternoon, during which temperatures will peak at 14°. There is also expected to be wind gusts from between 30 and 35mph from 8am until 8pm.

Hide AdInto the evening the temperature is predicted to dip to 11°. The Met Office then predicts that there will be some brighter periods from Wednesday onwards.
