The Met Office predicts strong winds in Leeds this evening and overnight, with gusts reaching up to 42mph.

There is the chance of a few blustery showers overnight, with a small chance of hail and thunder.

Temperatures will drop to colder than last night, with a minimum temperature of 5C.

Saturday, May 23

It will be another breezy day for Leeds tomorrow, with gusts expected to reach up to 43mph by the afternoon.

Forecasters say it will be cool and windy, but bright with sunny spells.

Scattered blustery showers may again develop and it could turn heavy and thundery, but will die away later. Maximum temperature 17C.

Sunday, May 24

Strong winds will die down on Sunday, with cloud changing to sunny intervals by the afternoon.

Maximum temperature 17C.

Monday, May 25

Temperatures will rise to 23C on Monday and it's forecast to be largely fine with plenty of sunshine.
