Amazing video shows extent of snow storm in Cookridge which buried roads

Stuart Moss shot this 10-minute walkthrough from around the Cookridge area during the peak of the snow on Thursday.

It shows just how deep the snow became across the area - and it remains a thick blanket covering the suburb on Friday.

The footage takes in Moseley Wood Bank, Tinshill Drive, Holt Park Road and shows what conditions were like at Holt Park Asda as a few brave souls battled to the supermarket for supplies.

Stuart said: "It isn't like the snowfall from the olden days, but in terms of what we see these days, this is something rather than nothing."
