Will the fog be around all day?

But there is some good news for residents about to set off for work or on the school run.

The fog shouldn't linger around for too long, according to the Met Office, with bright breaks and sunny spells set to take over for the majority of the morning.

As the day progresses more cloud will begin to appear, with some light rain moving into the evening.
