All the money will go to Ben, the automotive industry charity which provides support for life to its people and their families.

The two Emmas sported pink hair and had a car with an Em & Em logo on the bonnet.

PA Emma Spears, 48, from Featherstone, and resourcing manager Emma King, 46 from Haxby in York, raised £325 alone by auctioning their car.

The annual four-day driving challenge involved teams from across the motoring industry decorating their cars and driving to Davos in the Swiss Alps.

TrustFord chairman and chief executive officer Stuart Foulds said: “Ben is an important charity for anyone in the automotive industry, so we’re pleased to have been able to take part in Bangers4Ben this year.

“We had a huge number of entries from right across the business, and I’m glad that our selected 12 had a great time with their colleagues as they completed the challenge.

“Their creations and experience are certainly memorable, and it was great to be able to raise funds for Ben along the way.” TrustFord is the UK’s largest Ford dealer group, operating a network of 60 dealership sites throughout the UK and Channel Islands. It employs 3,200 people.
