Video: Web prankster brands conviction waste of taxpayers' cash after being hauled before the courts for rubbing pizza in rival comic's face

DJ Lee Marshall filmed himself running up to Jack Jones, who has a vast online following filming himself playing practical jokes on unsuspecting members of the public, and pushed a meat feast slice into his head.

Marshall, who also goes by Discoboy, was outside Canterbury West train station, in Kent, when he shoved the snack into his victim’s face. As he did so the 30-year-old shouted: “Have some pizza for your birthday, Jack. This is what you do to other people.” As soon as the attack happened Jack called the police and Marshall was charged with assault. At Canterbury Magistartes’ Court on Friday afternoon, he admitted common assault.
