VIDEO: M1 closed in both directions at Leeds after this tanker smash
Both carriageways of the M1 at Leeds have been closed after a lorry overturned at lunchtime and huge tailbacks have been reported after this tanker crash.
It happened near to J47 Garforth turn-off on the southbound carriageway and emergency services are at the scene.
Initial reports are that the driver of the tanker is being cut free from his cab and the Yorkshire Ambulance has been scrambled.
