Video: Leeds fans meet Peter Andre

The Mysterious Girl and Insania star arrived to crowds of screaming fans in the St John’s Centre at lunchtime.

Crowds snaked through the centre to catch a glimpse of the reality television star as he launched his new perfume range.

Two lucky Yorkshire Evening Post competition winners were given the chance to beat the queue and come face-to-face with their idol.

Gemma Brown, 29, from Crossgates, Leeds, said was overwhelmed to meet the superstar and have her photograph taken with him.

Andre said he was overwhelmed with the reaction in the city.

He said: “What an amazing welcome. It’s so nice to get the opportunity like this to come here and meet the fans. That’s what it’s all about.

“I’m always so grateful to know I’m still going after all this time and every one is still so lovely and wonderful to me.”
