Video: Guinness' new ad opens world's eyes to prejudice - with an anti-racism advert

The new ad, filmed entirely in black and white, will take viewers back to 1930s New York.

Entitled ‘Intolerant Champion’, it tells the story of jazz musician John Hammond who was born at the turn of the century - before the civil rights movement. In ‘30s New York, black and white musicians rarely played together - and many music venues permitted white audiences only. Although he was white, John Hammond had a burning passion for music of black origin, including jazz, the blues and gospel.
