UPDATE: Investigation after bus crashes into Whitby shop
An investigation was under way today after a bus crashed into a Whitby shop front.
Hold-ups were reported around Station Square in the resort between New Quay Road and Brunswick Street after an accident involving a bus on Saturday at 2pm.
The vehicle hit a department store, Boyes, which was evacuated.
They were no immediate reports of casualties after the accident which happened on Saturday afternoon at about 2pm.
An investigation into the crash is under way.
