Trapped driver rescued from car hanging over 10 foot bank in West Yorkshire

Firefighters have rescued a driver from a car hanging over a 10-foot bank.

It happened in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, on Thursday December 3.

West Yorkshire Fire were called to a residential street where a car had rolled over a banking edge, hanging over a 10-foot drop.

The driver was trapped inside and was rescued by firefighters.

A spokesperson for the fire service said: "The drop was approximately 10 feet and the car could have fallen.

"Crews stabilised the vehicle and were able to pull the car to safety."
