A giant military plane was spotted flying low over Leeds this morning.

The plane is a RAF A400M Atlas aircraft from RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire.

It is believed to have been flying over Leeds as part of routine training as it travelled from the RAF base up to Glasgow Airport.

The aircraft, which has the call sign Ascot480, was tracked making three approaches to Leeds Bradford Airport at 11am today.

It has been spotted over the skies of Leeds a number of times as part of essential training exercises.
