The current penalty for failing to stop for a red light is usually an £100 fine and 3 points on your licence and the points will stay on record for four years. If you fail to sign or respond to a red light penalty notice, or provide the details of the correct offending driver, you could face court prosecution, six penalty points and a maximum fine of £1,000. Most forces also offer educational courses to motorists who are caught running a red light, similar to speed awareness courses. These are the Leeds red light camera locations for the week of July 5, 2020. Photos for illustrative purposes and do not represent specific locations. Please drive safely.
