Lane closures on M62 at Tingley in Leeds due to overturned lorry

There are lane closures in place on the M62 in Leeds after a lorry overturned.

It happened eastbound between Junction 27 Birstall and Junction 28 Tingley at about 1.40pm on Monday, November 2.

Highways England confirmed that lanes three and four are closed.

No injuries have been reported.

Officers from the Roads Policing Unit said: "M62 prior to junction 28 on the east is down to 1 lane whilst we clear this out of the road.

"Pleased to say nobody was injured.

"Please allow more time for your journey"
