Huge queues and delays of up to ONE HOUR as A64 York Road closed in both directions due to cyclist and car crash

The A64 York Road is currently closed in both directions due to a crash involving a cyclist and a car.

There are huge queues on the road from B6159 Selby Road (Halton Dial, West Yorkshire) to Gipton Approach (Leeds).

Residents are reporting miles of traffic and long delays for commuters.

Nick Bell from Leeds said he had not moved in almost an hour following the crash.

Other local residents reported standstill traffic.
