Huge delays as NINE bus services delayed due to obstruction on busy Leeds street

There are huge delays this morning as nine bus services are affected by an obstruction in the road in Leeds.

The 4/16/19/19A/40/49/50/50A/56 services are being delayed by collapsed iron-work in the carriageway.

The obstruction is near the junction with St Peters Street in Leeds city centre.

First tweeted: "Heading out of the City Centre just after the junction with St. Peters Street (opp. the St. Anne's centre there is collapsed iron-work in the carriageway.

"This is causing delays to services.

"We sincerely apologise for this."
