A64 York Road closure: Two people taken to hospital after three vehicles involved in crash

West Yorkshire Police says it received a report of a collision involving three vehicles on the A64 York Road at around noon.

A spokesperson said: “Two people have been taken to hospital by ambulance. Their injuries are not thought to be serious.

“The road is currently closed to allow for the recovery of the vehicles.”

We’ve asked West Yorkshire Police details on what appears to be a serious collision, with reports that the A1620 Ring Road is closed at Seacroft. We’ll share further updates as we get them.

The AA’s website shows congestion is building in the area around the scene of the reported collision.
