Traffic disruption in Leeds city centre after pigeon netting causes bus to break down

Neville Street has reopened in both directions after pigeon netting caused a bus to break down.

The netting, which is fixed under the Dark Arches to stop pigeons gathering, came loose and got stuck in the wheels of the bus.

It happened shortly after midday.

Buses across the network were affected, with diversions in place.

The incident was cleared just before 1pm, according to Leeds Travel Info.
