Traffic is building on Kirkstall Road after a multi-vehicle crash.

A white car and white van collided on the road shortly before 11am this morning.

The crash has caused traffic to build on the popular route into Leeds City Centre.

One eyewitness said: "Cars were having to brake suddenly to avoid the accident scene.

"No recovery vehicles or emergency services had arrived when I spotted the crash at about 10.45am.

"It is a busy junction to turn out of, it is an accident waiting to happen."

It is not believed there are any injuries as a result of the crash.

The crash is outside Woodrup Cycles on Kirkstall Road.
