Severe delays on M621 in Leeds with traffic stuck in 10mph queues

There are severe delays on the M621 in Leeds this evening.

Queuing traffic is averaging a speed of just 10mph on the eastbound carriageway, out of Leeds.

The worst of the traffic is between junction 2 at Elland Road and junction 7 at Stourton.

The AA has reported that severe delays are increasing.

There is also one planned lane closure on the A61 at M621 junction 7, due to roadworks on the Stourton roundabout.
