All Leeds bus diversions and cancellations as Green Hill Road and Roundhay Road shut for resurfacing
The roads will be closed between 9.30am and 3.30pm
Two busy routes in Leeds are set to shut for resurfacing works.
Green Hill Road, Armley will be closed due to resurfacing works from Tuesday, May 26 to Monday, June 8 between 9.30am and 3.30pm on weekdays only. Services 16 and 16A will divert in both directions via A647 Stanningley Road, and via Armley Ridge Road.
In Sheepscar, Roundhay Road will be closed due to resurfacing works from Tuesday 26 to Thursday, May 28 between 9.30am and 3pm each day. Services 12, 13 and 13A will divert in both directions via Sheepscar Junction and Barrack Road.
Running from May 21 to November 28, Pepper Road Bridge in Hunslet will be closed for a period of six months after plans were originally put in place to replace a damaged bridge plate. The road will be closed throughout, with a diversion clearly signposted. Bus services 74, 75 and 86 will be diverted in both directions.
In Guiseley, Leeds Road, Guiseley will remain closed due to resurfacing works between 7pm and 6am until Friday, May 29 - services 33 and A3 will divert. Separately, Green Lane and Cross Green Lane will continue affected by works on Saturday, May 30 from 8am to 5pm. Service 40 will divert via Selby Road and Hollyshaw Lane in both directions. All bus stops will be served on the diversion route.
Meanwhile, Rock Lane in Bramley will remain closed until Friday, May 29. Service 60 will be diverting via Upper Rodley Lane and Leeds Bradford Road during this closure.
In Leeds city centre, Wellington Street street will also remain closed eastbound, between 4pm and 4am on Sundays only, until Sunday, June 7. Services 4, 4F, 16, 16A, 33, 34, 42, 60, 60A, 508, 875, 876 and A1 will divert as a result of this closure.
Elsewhere in the city centre, bus stop 45010914 Merrion C remains out of use , as a result of ongoing works on Woodhouse Lane, and service PR1 will continue to not serve stop 45025848 Wellington N on Whitehall Road due to pedestrian works.
Long term closures to A656 Ridge Road Bridge, between Garforth and Micklefield, and Austhorpe Lane Bridge will remain in place until December. Disruption to Dawsons Corner and Stanningley Bypass will also remain in place until early 2027.
In a welcome boost to city services, Harrogate Road at Otley Old Road in Bramhope has reopened after the completion of resurfacing works.
