Emergency services rushed to Kirkstall Road after crash on busy Leeds junction

It happened at about 11.15pm on Friday at the Kirkstall Lights junction with Bridge Road and Kirkstall Lane.

The crash, which is believed to involve one car, has partially blocked Kirkstall Road.

The car has flipped on its side and there is debris blocking the carriageway.

Ambulance crews and at least three police cars were called to the scene, but it is not yet known if anyone was injured.

Traffic is moving slowly past the scene and police officers are directing late bus services through the busy junction.
