A £44.1m road improvement scheme in Leeds is reaching its final stages - here is how work is looking right now 🚧
Dawsons Corner has looked quite different for the past 17 months as the major Leeds junction undergoes a multi-million-pound transformation project.
Scheduled to be completed by Spring 2027, the project has seen both an old roundabout removed and a new through road created.
Four weeks of overnight works commenced on Monday, October 12, to prepare the road area for its final resurfacing.
Dawsons Corner connects the A647 Stanningley Road and the A6120 Ring Road which are two of Leeds’ most important transport routes.
The scheme aims to reduce congestion, improve bus journey reliability, and create safer pedestrian routes.
