Three Leeds fire crews rushed to house fire in Armley

Firefighters have been rushed to the scene of a house fire in Armley.

The fire broke out on the ground floor of a house on Park Mount at about 2.09pm.

Smoke alarms were working and detected the fire.

Two engines from Leeds and one from Rawdon attended the scene.

Crews used two hose reels, four breathing apparatus and positive pressure ventilation to extinguish the fire.

One pump from Leeds remains on Park Mount damping down the house.
