That's what we call a perfect recipe! New festival in Leeds has line-up to savour
As previously reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post, indie rock bands James and Primal Scream are playing the family-friendly OnRoundhay event in Roundhay Park on Saturday, September 17.
And now organisers have revealed that a host of top culinary names will be serving up entertainment of their own on the festival’s John Lewis Chef Demo Stage.

Liz Cottam, who lives in Gildersome and reached the semi-final of TV’s MasterChef competition this year, is hosting an interactive cookery school where festival-goers can get hands-on in the kitchen.
Liz is planning to share the recipe for her favourite MasterChef dish and told the YEP: “It’ll be amazing to revisit and cook it without the crazy pressure and share a behind the scenes story or two!”
Other gastro experts appearing include Murray Wilson (Horto at Rudding Park), Matthew Hunter (The Star Inn), Jono Elvin (Salvos) and local rising star Greg Lewis (Pintura).

Children aged 12 or under will get free entry to the Roundhay Park extravaganza, which has been launched as a sister event to London’s established OnBlackheath festival.
It is being masterminded by music industry figure Harvey Goldsmith, who has in the past promoted concerts at Roundhay by the likes of Madonna and Bruce Springsteen.
James and Primal Scream will be joined on the event’s music bill by Wolf Alice, Max Jury and The Haggis Horns.
