The occupants of the SEAT Mii suffered serious injuries and sadly the 18-year-old died yesterday as a result of her injuries.

The driver of the Seat, a 45-year-old woman, and a 20-year-old passenger, both received injuries that were not life threatening.

The BMW driver, a 32-year-old man, was arrested.

A road closure was put in place for almost 10 hours.
