Rugby star Barrie is backing 10K challenge in Leeds
Leeds rugby legend Barrie McDermott is backing this summer's Clarion Leeds 10K Corporate Challenge.
Hundreds of businessmen and women will pull on their trainers in a bid to take the title of fastest firm in the city on Sunday, July 9.
The challenge has grown into a popular feature of the Asda Foundation Leeds 10K.
It is open to teams of at least five members – there is no upper limit. Clarion has sponsored the challenge since 2007.
McDermott met Clarion joint managing partner Roger Hutton and Mike Tomlinson from race organiser Run For All at a networking lunch as part of the build-up to the event.
