Latest figures reveal Leeds City Council received a total of 2,483 noise complaints between January 2017 and December 2018. Here are the 12 Leeds City Council wards that made the largest number of complaints.
Figures from Leeds City Council have revealed the 12 worst places in Leeds for noise complaints.
Unsurprisingly in the ward housing the city centre, licensed premises topped the reasons for complaints with 84. Followed by 76 for construction sites and 50 for commercial/industrial activities.
Licensed premises were also the reason for the most complaints in this ward with 27, followed by 23 for construction sites.
34 complaints were made about commercial/ industrial activities in the ward, with 24 made for licensed premises.
The hipster hotspot is high on the list for noise complaints, with 33 for licensed premises.
Construction sites caused the most complaints in this area with 22 incidents.
